Yes...your eyes are not deceiving you. That sign has been spotted in every CVS in my area. How I love seeing that sign :) lol!!! I figured I would share with all my fellow makeup/beauty lovers this amazing sale that happens 2-3 times a year (I'm not 100% sure how many times a year but this is what I believe). Not everyone can afford to buy things at full price or afford high end makeup. This is a great sale to take advantage of. Believe it or not sometimes makeup that was just released you luckily can find for 50%-75% off. No lie!!!! I have been lucky enough to come across them. You know I took advantage of this sale. I obviously don't need any more makeup so I didn't buy a whole lot but I couldn't help picking up a few things. I have a hard time refraining myself sometimes. Most of the items I did pick up were under $2 so not too bad, at least that is what I tell myself. Hopefully, I will post and share what items I picked up during this amazing sale. Until then.....xoxoxoxoxo!!!!!!

**NEW** Revlon Matte Balms
Hello fellow beauties!!!!! I'm back with another Buy & Try blog :) apparently matte and laquer lip products are becoming a big thing in makeup right now. First, I stumbled upon Loreal's La Laque and Le Matte lip crayons or lip sticks (whatever you would like to call them), and then I saw the display for Revlon's. At first, I wasn't so into getting any of the Revlon balms since I had already purchased some of the Loreal ones, but as always something always comes along...(clear my throat) YouTube...that peeks my interest and makes me cave. In this particular instance, I'm glad that I caved!
I didn't purchase any of the glossy shiny ones (sad that I'm not even aware of what they are actually called). I purchased only some of their matte shades. I'm seriously obsessed and loving these matte balms!!! I stuck with some reds and of course a pink but I decided to be a little daring and try out their purple shade, which believe it out not, l LOOOOOVVVVEEEE!!!! First off, these lip balms are said to be a matte finish. What I love about these matte balms is they come on so smooth and velvety. They don't make your lips feel extremely dry, they make they feel more moisturized. I'm someone that has some extremely dry lips especially during this time of year. Honestly, I thought the matte would make my dry lips look worse, but it was the complete opposite! I wasn't a huge fan of the Loreal Le Matte lip color on me but Revlon's is a whole different story. I only picked up 4 of the matte balms they had available.
#250 Standout, which is a classic red. The color on the tube is darker then the color that appears on your lips. #240 Striking, which is an orangish red color.
#220 Showy, which is a Barbie pink color. #215 Shameless, which is a medium purple color.
These retail for about $8.99/each (at my local Walgreens), but you know me and buying things at retail, rarely happens. I was lucky enough to get them on sale. First off, Walgreens had Revlon on sale for BOGO 1/2 off, and on top of that they had a $2 off coupon in their savings booklet, and I also had $1 off any revlon product. So, they basically cost me $4.75/each, almost 50% off the original cost....yayyyyyy me!!!!
Don't waste any time, pick some up. I have only seen these at my local Walgreens and CVS. Some people have seen them at Walmart (which they also retail for cheaper), but I have yet to see them at any of mine. It wasn't stated that they were limited edition or for limited time only, but the displays I came across didn't have many available, so I wouldn't wait too long just to be on the safe side. I love the color variations and the product in general is worth every penny!

Be a Runway Beauty Eye Shadow Trios (Fall Collection 2013)....what I think!
Hey there my fellow beauties!!! I have been wanting to come on here more to be able to share some of my cool findings and deals with all of you. I wish I could do more than what I currently post but being that I still work and have to take care of my soon 4 year old, I don't have as much time as I like. Sorry for the ranting...lets get on with what I am on here about.
Those that know me, know how I have said that I was attempting to do a "No Buy" until at least around Christmas Time. Well, once again that was a BIG FAIL!!!! Once again I found myself inside one of the many local Walgreens in my area and fell upon a display by one of my favorite makeup brands....Wet n Wild of course!!!! :)
(Photo shown above courtesy of BeautyBroadcast.net)
A majority of the items that were in this display were current items they sale day to day. But I recognized a few new eye shadow trios that I have never seen before. The photo above from www.beautybroadcast.net has them circled. I only picked up 2 out of the 3 trios that they had and I was lucky enough to get them while they were on sale, again! The trios retail for $2.99/each and my local Walgreens had $1 off of them.
First one I picked up was #34284 Camera Obscura. I always go for the trios I know I would wear more often or at least once. This trio had some neutrals that you could work into any look you create.
The Browbone, which is a light brownish tan matte color, and Crease, which is a sheen light pink color, were my favorite in this particular trio. The eyelid color does remind me of a color that is in my other Wet n Wild palette, Blue Had Me At Hello. Its a dark blackish blue with hints of light blue shimmer.
These are the swatches for Camera Obscura. The crease and browbone color did need a few swipes before they started to appear on my arm. I did not use an eye shadow base to apply these swatches, with one most likely the colors would have been more pigmented then they are shown in these pictures. Besides that, the colors were gorgeous on the skin. Worth the $2 for sure!!!!
The next trio I picked up was #34292 Silent Era Film. Another trio I can definitely see myself using on a regular basis. This trio also comes with some neutrals, which I love, once again easy to incorporate into any look.
The colors in the Silent Era Film Trio is as follow....the browbone is a sheer mauvey pink. The crease is a coraly pink matte color. The eyelid is a grey color with some silver hints of glitter.
The swatches above for Silent Era Film were pigmented. Once again, the crease and browbone colors both had to be swiped a few times before the colors appeared on skin, but I didn't use an eye shadow base to apply the swatches. I'm sure if I did the colors most likely would've appeared with more pigmentation.
As I said I was lucky enough to run into these on a trip to Walgreens I didn't
even intend on going on. Talk about double score, finding these bad boys and even better, finding them on sale!!!! YEAHER!!!!! Both of these trios are a must have, especially if you are neutral look person. They are colors that are easy to work with and can go with any look or outfit. Wet n Wild is an amazing, affordable brand, you can never go wrong. Even if you do try them out and end up disliking them, its not like you paid an arm and a leg for their products. I couldn't be happier with all the products I purchased from them. One of the few companies I trust in! Now get up and find this collection before its gone, you will regret it if you don't!

Deals of the Day....Dollar Tree Steals!!!!
Hey there my fellow beauties!!!! Once again I was out and about browsing at local stores, I should've just been window shopping, but honestly who can do that anymore?!? I had to pick up a few things at my local Dollar Tree and of course had to pass by the makeup aisle before I check out, lol!!! (Don't judge me, you would've too!) I was super impressed to see how much more of e.l.f.'s studio line they were carrying and more well known name makeup brands in general. Way to go Dollar Tree, keep it up!!!!! Who doesn't like finding makeup they love for $1.00?!? So, I just had to take advantage while I was there to grab a few goodies :)
Like I said I just picked a few things, believe me I would've got more if I didn't stop myself from doing so. Most of it was e.l.f. Cosmetics, of course, one of my FAVORITE brands of makeup! I couldn't help getting some studios brushes, you can never have enough brushes, lol!!!!
I wasn't looking for a new foundation, but I actually stumbled upon this NYC All Day Long Foundation. I already own a NYC foundation that I absolutely love!!!! I figured I would pick up this one to give it a try I mean it wouldn't hurt since it was just $1.00. I love that this one has a pump because the other foundation I have with this company doesn't. I tried looking up the original cost of this product, but it doesn't seem to be something that is sold in the U.S. I was only able to find the price in pounds (I think). I am looking forward on doing a first impression of this product and posting it here and on myYouTube Channel. So stay tuned!!!!
Another item I decided to pick up, is an e.l.f. Brightening Eye Color Palette in the color 2018 Day 2 Night. This palette is sold for $1.00 on eyeslipsface.com so I didn't find it on sale or for a better deal but it does help that I didn't have to pay shipping to purchase it. They had a few other colors available but for some reason I liked this one a lot!
These colors are definitely great options for creating a day to night look (the name suits it well). I find it to be a perfect neutral color palette. I'm especially fond of the taupe looking color and maroonish wine looking color too!
Last but not least, I had to take advantage of getting the studio brushes by e.l.f. Cosmetics!!!! These retail for $3.00/each and to find them for $1.00/each instead, you would have to be brain dead to not jump on that offer. I'm not going to lie, I was extremely surprised to see that they had studio line products at Dollar Tree in general!!! The basic line is common since the items are already $1.00 on e.l.f.'s website anyways. I wish they had more of the studio line available, I would've definitely bought the all at this price. Such a steal. I picked up the angled contour brush and the flat eyeliner brush. No make up lover could ever have enough makeup brushes :)
Now that I was able to find all these great items at such a steal, I'm going to continue to keep my eyes open whenever I enter a Dollar Tree from now on. Who knows what great makeup products you can find. Makes me want to visit more local Dollar Trees just to see what they have to offer as well. Not every one has the same items so you never know. Hope you guys have the same luck I had in finding such amazing products at such steals (especially e.l.f.'s Stufio Line). So keep your eyes open ladies and good luck!

Wet n Wild Beauty Army Tough Girl Craze Review
Hello my fellow makeup and sale lovers of the world!!!! So lately, I have been on a Wet n Wild binge and hunting down their new limited edition collections. First was the Pop Art Craze and now I came across their Beauty Army Tough Girl Craze Collection. This collection has both eye shadow trios and nail polishes, but I only got two of the eye shadow trios.
Once again, I decided to purchase colors that I know I would use or that I didn't already have in my makeup collection. I got lucky to find these beauties when they were on sale at my local Walgreens. I ended up picking them up for $2/each....SCORE!!!!!
Spoiled Army Brat was definitely a mission to locate. I literally had to go to 3 different Walgreens before I located it. I definitely wanted to take advantage of the sale before it was over. I wasn't going to give up and I'm glad that I didn't.
This is a pretty pink palette. Pink is my favorite color so I just had to have this in my makeup collection. The eyelid colors is a nice light pink which does come off a bit chalky but is very pigmented. The crease color (my favorite of the palette) is like a light cranberry pinkish red color. Last but not least, the browbone color is a pinky mauve color, and took a few swipes before it was able to be seen on my skin.
The eyelid and crease colors are both matte and the browbone color does have a bit of a sheen to it. Beautiful in general. Love this palette!
The other palette I picked up and just had to have, was Soldiers in Charms. The greens are what caught my attention. This palette definitely fit into the theme of this collection...automatically thought Army Fatigues when I saw it. Also, these color are PERFECT fall colors and I feel like these colors are going to be the "IT" color for fall.
The eyelid color is a greenish gray color which I have never seen before and DO NOT have in any of my eyeshadow palettes already. The crease color, which is sooooo beautiful, is a very dark deep green with gold shimmer in it. The browbone color, is a very bright sort of lime green color and came across a bit chalky as well.
The eyelid color is matte. The crease color has shimmer/glitter. The browbone color has a bit of a sheen to it.
A definite MUST HAVE in your makeup collection. There were a total of 6 eye shadow trios from this collection. All the colors and finishes of these trios looked gorgeous but I didn't get them all since I didn't see myself using them or I had similar colors already in my collection. In general, Wet n Wild's is already so affordable for a great quality of makeup. These trios originally run $2.99/each which is as if you were paying $1 for each eye shadow, not bad at all!!! On top of that, they're beautiful pigmented colors and you won't be disappointed.
I'm hoping to be able to get some of the nail polishes from this line and hope to share them with you when and if I do get them. Those are $3.99 or $2.99/each, I don't remember...sorry. Waiting to see if they eventually go on sale so I can pick them up.
I have only seen this particular collection in Walgreens and some at Kmart as well. So, what are you waiting for?!??? Go get these babies!!!!!!!

COLORS COLORS COLORS!!!! Wet n Wild's Pop Art Craze Eyeshadow Trios (Limited Edition)
HELLO LOVELY LADIES!!!!! I know it has been a long time since I posted anything on my blog....I am so sorry, but life has been crazy for me the last few months. I am somewhat back on track and have finally found some time to sit down and post about this limited edition collection by Wet n Wild. I know I am probably really late with this post and many people have already spoken about this collection but either way I wanted to let you guys know how I felt about it.
The Pop Art Craze Limited Edition Collection!!!! Let me first start off by saying, WOW!!!! The display, in general, caught my eye within an instant. I did hear about it in advance through social sites and those that are beauty ambassadors with Wet n Wild, so I was already super excited for this line to come into stores :) I believe they started making their debut in the beginning of July 2013. I found this display at my local Walgreens (they were $2.99/each, I believe).
As is shown, there were both eye shadow trios and nail polishes that were part of this limited edition collection. I did not pick up all the eye shadow trios since some of the colors would be colors I would probably never use. But I did pick up the two that I believed I would get the most use of. I did also pick up a majority of the nail polishes (since they were on sale for $.69 at the time), but I will not be posting them in this particular blog (look for one in the future).
One of the eye shadow trios I purchased was in #34166 Hard Being the It Girl.
I loved every color that was in this trio. One thing I absolutely loved is that all the colors are Matte. I probably won't use the brow bone color for my brow bone but I can see myself using it as the eyelid color. I can see myself using the eyelid color as a brow bone color as well. Both the eyelid color and brow bone color are pretty much neutrals that you can pull off with any look. My favorite color from this trio is the crease color. It is super pigmented and the blue is such a beautiful bright color to accent this look.
The cream and pink colors did appear a bit chalky which was a bit disappointing but I am sure I can still make it work somehow. If you are someone that is not afraid of color or is willing to try a bit of color this trio would definitely work for you. It still has some basic soft colors but the blue surely does add a pop to your look, to make it a bit daring and different.
The other trio I picked up was in #34169 To Muse and Carouse. I think this trio was the perfect colors for summer. Since it did come out in July, this was a great combo for that time of the month. As the other trio I purchased, all the colors in this trio are also all Matte. The eyelid and crease colors were both super pigmented, as for the brow bone color, I did have to get a few swipes before I could get any color to appear on my skin.
These colors weren't as chalky as Hard Being the It Girl. I love the combo and feel like these colors would make a gorgeous eye look, as I said for the summer time. I still feel if you don't use as much of the aqua eyelid color, I am sure it could still work during the fall season as well. This trio can suit any makeup lover out there, the colors aren't too bold, where it would make anyone think twice before purchasing it. The feel of the eye shadows are very silky smooth.
The other trios in this collection were a bit more colorful and bright. I didn't purchase them since I didn't see myself using them. Since, I did purchase this with my own money, I didn't want to spend it on something that wouldn't ever be used. They were all beautiful colors and some were pretty daring colors.
I don't know if these are still available in stores but if you are lucky to come across them, ACT FAST!!!! I got lucky to find them when I did and made sure to purchase the ones I wanted. If you wait, they will be gone, believe me! I am sure you can also check online and find somewhere or someone that is still selling them. Wet n Wild is so affordable and all the trios that I have tried I have LOVED!!!! The colors are super pigmented and so beautiful on the eyes.
I did also purchase 2 of the eye shadow trios from the new Beauty Army Tough Girl Craze, so keep an eye out for that blog NEXT!!!!

Update!!!!!
Hey there!!!! Man has it been a long time since I have been on here, but man have I been a very busy bee. Not by choice of course. Been working more hours at work so it gives me little time to get together things to post on here as well as I try to record videos for my youtube channel when I can too. I'm also getting ready to move so things been a bit hectic with that going on as well. But I'm going to try my best to start coming back on here to get more blog postings up, at least I'm hoping. Here's a little preview of what I want to attempt posting on this blog in the next week or so.
Keep an eye out for that! :) Until then....xoxoxoxoxo!!!!! <3
